Great for fret slotting.
Great endmills for cutting fret slots. The extra reach really helps out if you are slotting before radius. I used to have to use a fretting saw to deepen the ends of the slot after losing depth due to radiusing. Not anymore. Great value - far less expensive than the endmills I used previously. The depth rings are a plus - even though these endmills have proven to handle my cuts without breakage, it's nice to know that you can replace the endmill without having to re-zero Z if necessary.Great endmills for cutting fret slots.
