This is a great product,it's lightweight, very powerful, easy to handle. I had no problems putting it together, after using it,it cleaned up and stored easily. The blower is so powerful and I would highly recommend it to anyone that have a problem cranking the gas ones, all you have to do is snap it together, plug it up and turn it on the setting that you prefer and away you go,you want have to worry about oil or gas, ever.

I was presently surprises that ,, The day I open the box I used it. All the parts went together and I need to pick up all the leafs in the front yard, when I took it out of the box, my two cats jumped into the box and started playing. They love boxes !! Well getting back to the front yard cleanup, it took me minutes instead of hours to collect the leafs and to suck them up. Very pleased. Good Buy!!!

This leaf blower/vacuum was listed by Black & Decker and restored to factory standards by Black & Decker. It works fantastically just as if it were new. This is an excellent value - The Home Depot was selling this exact product for $149, and I bought it on eBay for $46.00. If you're thinking of getting one, just be sure that the leaves are dry; wet leaves don't mulch well and because they are heavier, they make the vacuum work harder.

Ok let me start by saying I had an old toro blower that barely moved itself out of it's own way. This is a night and day difference. It's actually a little on the heavy side and that may be a deal breaker for some but you can tell the internals are solid. I tested this briefly on wet leaves mixed in with my large river rock. Moved leaves (and some of the smaller rocks) with ease. If you don;t mind a corded blower and don't want to spend an arm and a leg this model (BV5600) is a perfect combination of power for the price (actually for the price and how strong this is you really can't go wrong). I haven't been impressed with B&D products for a long time, I read a ton of reviews on different blowers what CFM means and how it relates to air movement versus the MPH. At the end of the day unless you need a backpack blower due to power issues and a very large area you need to clear you really can't go wrong with this blower. I haven't tried the vac feature as of yet but I didn't need it either but other reviews indicated it ate up reasonable sized twigs and even a decent sized small branch or 5.Read full review

After extensive research of reviews I decided to try the Black and Decker 5600 Blower/Mulcher/Vacuum. I was impressed. It performed exactly as the better reviews had described it would. It vacuumed dry leaves, wet leaves and tree stems the diameter of my fingers with little effort. I believe this to be because of the mulching impeller design. Most other vacuum mulchers draw the leaves and stems directly through the impeller itself creating a situation where wet leaves and stems can jam the rotating impeller against a fixed vane. The Black and Decker uses an impeller design in which material does not pass through the impeller, but instead strikes the cast aluminum impeller from one side, shredding the material and casting the mulched leaves out the discharge. The leaves are mulched very fine as described by the product literature. Used as a blower it was quite adequate. The product is fairly light weight and easy to use. I would highly recommend this lawn and garden tool.Read full review
