Good Spring BB gun for the price. Gets a little better FPS at 240 vs some of the other spring BB pistols that shoot closer to 195 or 200 FPS for competitor guns like the Umarex DX17 an Crossman PSM45. Shoots decent at close range only, maybe up to 15-20 yards, beyond that can see the bb projectile losing velocity and arcs downward, so still a bit weak. Goes through cardboard targets well, doesnt shoot holes well through cans, mostly just dents them. And doesn't go through plastic drink bottles, bb's just bounce off them...

This was to replace my Daisy CO2 pellet/bb gun for shooting squirrels that get into my vegetable garden and eat all my strawberries, and onto the bird feeders. Unfortunately, it lacks enough power to accurately aim and hit a target at any distance beyond around 20 feet. I can actually watch the BBs arc and drop short of the target if beyond that distance. The slide action is good, but you only get one shot with each action.

Our family has been around fire arms for many years. But, when my husband loaded the bb's into the cartage and the cartage into the pistol, it was only shooting out air. He looked at the gun to see what was wrong and found the cartage hadn't loaded into the pistol properly. He then put the cartage back into the pistol and it shot off a few bb's. When he went to see why, he found that some of the bb's had slipped out of the cartage and into the cartage chamber and jammed the cartage so it couldn't be removed. The pistol is now unusable. Beware! new buyers and make sure the cartage is pushed very hard into the chamber when loading the pistol.
