This is a great leaf blower. No gas and oil mix. Starts on first or second pull every time. Easy to maintain. Probably a little heavier than a 2 stroke blower but for the ease of operation and maintenance it's well worth it to me. This is a very good product. Makita does not make junk. I got this one for my neighbor. I have a Dolmar which is the exact same blower but was bought by Makita. My neighbor tried mine and was sold on it. When I went online to find him one I couldn't because they had changed the name to Makita. When I got it it is the exact blower but it's blue instead of orange. Otherwise every part is the same. They have good power. I use mine to blow snow off the sidewalk if it's a couple inches or less. I don't know what I ever did before I bought one of these? I blow my sidewalks and garage out, clean the yard of leaves, and I have a lot, I use it more that any other yard tool except my mower.Read full review

this is an excellent blower, great power and easy to operate the only con might be the weight but considering how great it works I don,t think anyone would complain.

Almost nothing to assemble, the pipes and make sure you lock them in place. Added oil, gas, no mixing as is 4 cycle. started right up and worked great. Lots of pressure. At almost 10 lbs a little heavy after a while using one hand but not fighting with cords, mixing gas and oil, and is very quiet. I still use ear protection but that also has radio in them. Very well made, great value.

It starts with little to no effort, and runs without shutting down. I own a two cycle engine that just won't start, or if I get lucky, and it does start, shuts down. Give me a good gas only engine like this one, and at a reasonable price.

Lightweight and powerful. No more mixing gas and oil. Best of all it's easy to start. No more pump this ten times, set this, then pull four times, then reset this, and pull til it starts. One pump, and that's only if it fails to start on the first pull, then one pull and it starts. Its also lighter than the Stihl BG75 that I loved for many years and its much quieter also. I love it, I like the craftmanship and quality that go into Makita tools. I wish the Stihl had broken years ago and given me a reason to try this earlier.
