Appears I won the silicon lottery this time. Installed with no probs on an msi b350m gaming pro motherboard with 16gb Gskills Aegis ram (@3000). the bios has a one button OC and it sets up itself. The core speed hopped to 3.75 with no tweaking and runs at under 90 degrees F with no issues. I Would guess there is a little more headroom if I worked at it but I am plenty happy with this performance. And at the current used market prices, made no sense not to buy new and get a fresh chip with the heatsink-fan and thermal paste ready to go out of the box. Moving to Ryzen has been one of the best upgrade bang for the buck moves I have made in years. Needing only a mobo and ram to go with my old parts I was soaring for 200 clams, and that with a fairly decent piece of 3d graphics built into the cpu.Read full review

Been using my threadripper workstation as also in house server and the power draw is just too high. Bought this as a low power alternative with a x570 board. Works great for the low cost and energy draw. Have 8 lane sas controller and dual port 10gb network card and a nvme setup no issues. Running proxmox with some virtual machines and about 20 docker setups plus nvr software. Only maxes all 4 cores while starting it all up. Also a great placeholder cpu until I decide to go 12 or 16 core ryzen 3k

With GPU prices so high, it's a miracle that you can buy an APU for so cheap. It has excellent performance on every level (it's not a 2080ti combined with an 8 core cpu but for it's price it's much better than expected). I highly recommend it for anyone looking to build an inexpensive all around or gaming PC.

Runs well, also doubles as a graphics processor for those who are on a tight budget build and can't afford a separate GPU. That said, it's not gonna blow the doors off a modern dedicated CPU, and it also steals 2GB of system memory to run the graphics processing, so beware if running a small amount of RAM.

I didn't want to spend more money than a few hundreds for son's gaming pc so I decided to build one for him using Ryzen 3 2200. I was planning to get a modest GPU something like GTX 1050ti or the Radeon comparable. It turns out Ryzen's graphic is good enough to play Fortnite. With just an 8GB Ram, the pc runs really smooth.
