    Works well but small

    I like this generator. It started easy but didn’t have enough power for what I needed for my camping trip. We had too much stuff to plug up. I simply need a larger one.

    Nice little generator. But because it’s gas and oil mix. It smokes and smells more than a four cycle engine. That said, it’s got enough light duty power

    Lifesaver during 10 day power outage.

    Lost power for 10 days due to tropical storm Isaias. The Sportsman Gen 1000 was a life saver as it ran my whole house but I had to watch the load management as it could not run all appliances at same time. This little green beauty ran refrigerator, washing machine, gas dryer, dishwasher, several tv's and 3 ton central air conditioner , albeit not at the same time. My neighbors couldn't believe the power this little monster puts out and we're thunderstruck when they saw the central ac running off the Sportsman 1000. Thanks

    Take the tank off and check all the connections, buy it. it is very good at 75 decibels, 5 hrs using 1 gal.

    i had a negative experience when the generator stopped putting out voltage after the first use, but after much reading and learning i located the source of my trouble was loose connections at the reset switch one of the red wires was not connected, if you have problems check that first, i will not take it higher than 600 watts, and run it 50:1 ratio, i want to thank all the positive reviews that were written about this little power plant, they helped me make my decision.
