So far this Optiplex 3010 "MT" motherboard is working fine. This motherboard does not have USB 3.0, but I plan on adding that in later for less than $15usd and I knew about this prior to purchasing this motherboard. If you use a non-stock CPU cooler, you will have to press the F1 key at start-up. This is because there seems to be some type of sensor in the CPU cooling fan that Dell made sure was in place. Pressing the F1 key at start-up is an acceptable practice just so that I can use a better aftermarket CPU cooler and I think that's a fair trade-off. "A better cooler versus simply taking a second to press the F1 key." At the moment, I am using a stock Intel Cpu cooler until I get a better unit. This 3010 "MT" motherboard does have standard fan headers and not the Dell proprietary fan headers you find on such models at the Opteplex 7010. The Optiplex 390 "MT" and Optiplex 3010 "MT" motherboards seem to be the same just from looking at the photos. Unless you have Dell special fan connectors(CPU & case fans), then these two(390 & 3010) motherboards are the way to go. According to the Dell 3010 manual, this Optiplex 3010 "MT" motherboard only accepts 8Gb RAM Total = 2 x 4Gb DDR3 RAM. According to reading about others using the 3010 motherboard, after a BIOS update it can use Xeon CPUs, but check that out for yourself before you consider buying a Xeon. You do not need the Dell proprietary power button and you can use a regular 2-pin one. I hope this helps with your choices to consider. PTL!!!Read full review

If this board will fit inside your case, and it should it's very small. The only downside to this is if you were planning on using a graphics card there is no slot for one so this would be a build for a simple computer. You will have to use the power supply that Dell provides for this board which is the same that is used for other boards like this (USFF) Ultra Small Form Factor. Support s 16gb of ddr4 up to 1600mhz. You will need a CPU with built in graphics, this board does support xeon CPU's but like I said it will have to have built in graphics. Great board for a simple budget build.

Great small real estate computer. You can put two on your desk they take up little space; are quiet and fast; good value for your buck.

Perfect condition, works nicely! My previous MB got damaged by dust and I was having random freezes and the only "fix" was to hard reset, after several days of diagnosing I came to the conclusion it was the MB, got this one and voila... problem solved.
