Fast ship even during Easter weekend? Came on pallet boxed and everything looked okay ... Fast ship even during Easter weekend? Came on pallet boxed and everything looked okay until I saw the pull cord metal cover had been banged into that prevented function of pull cord? That was only problem of purchase? The people at Westinghouse worked with me in a remedy but that took about 2 weeks before they made a decision. I even sent a picture to them of the cover dented and prevents pull cord function. So, the cover is fixed and partial refund to help me out? One other thing is the battery is not sealed. Be careful or acid will spill. I have since ordered a sealed gel type Lit iron style as a longer lasting battery[10 years] since this generator is for emergency house backup? Everything else went great I put in my own oil and did a break in as requested and everything on this generator works great ? Great price for the power ?

Dual fuel is a plus, though likely will run gas almost all the time. Sturdy bar handle for moving around the couple hundred pound unit. Rolls easily and confidently. Electric start is a breeze, haven't tried the remote fob yet. Has manual pull also should there be a battery issue. Running a 1750 sq ft home, didn't flinch much at all - though heaviest draws should probably be alternated to avoid bottoming out (furnace/ac off if using oven/range or dryer, etc). Running with a 50' cord through an interlock connection to my panel and very happy with my choice.

It can be hooked up to your breaker box and become a whole house supply. HOWEVER you ... It can be hooked up to your breaker box and become a whole house supply. HOWEVER you must not over load it. Only turn on the electric supply you need. I like the digital read out for the output and the hours of operation. Being as it will probably be in storage most of the time, change the oil as recommended. It should be operated OUTSIDE, therefore build a rain cover from PVC piping. With PVC piping you can disassemble the cover and store with the gen.
