While electrics are still not as powerful as gas, they are a whole lot easier to use. My dog still goes nuts from engine noise, but it is lighter, cleaner, fast starting, does a good job. I use it to mainly clear dog hair from my corgi, which is everywhere. Can use it inside my house. Yes dog hair is everywhere and I just blow out the double doors. No gas fumes setting off the detectors. So it does a good job for me. Really don’t think it would work for blowing leaves as you only have 10 minutes of power.

I used this item twice. The first time, I thought perhaps it was not charged properly since the battery quit so quickly. So I charged it again per the instructions in the guide that came with the blower, and then I timed how long it lasted on my cell phone: 5 minutes and 5 seconds (when used on the higher speed). This was barely enough time to clear my driveway. Per the manual, it then takes 5 HOURS to recharge. This is totally unacceptable and renders this blower almost worthless to me. I am returning it (per the sale agreement, I have to pay return shipping). I have several other WORX products (battery hedge clippers, battery lawn mower and battery trimmer). Those are all great and I have been very harpy with them. This blower works fine for 5 minutes. If that's all the time you need, then I guess it's a good value for someone that only needs to clear leaves and debris from a small area like a sidewalk or driveway. But if you are thinking of using it for clearing a yard- even a small one- look elsewhere. The 20 Volt battery is no where near powerful enough for any jobs last more than 5 minutes. It will cost me $16 to ship it back. So unless you have money to burn, look elsewhere. I should have read more reviews on the web before I bought it. Unlike other WORX products, this one is VERY disappointing. (P.S.- My return is in pristine shape, so no doubt they will re-sell it again. You have been warned).Read full review

So I bought this blower for small jobs as well as for drying off a 4-Door sedan vehicle. The blower works good(High speed only) but as expected the battery life is poor. I blame it more on the manufactures, why would she engineer a semi powerful blower with a high power need with such a petty battery. The quality of the overall equipment feels sturdy, medium weight. Battery charge time is extreme and the life is poor. Manufacture flaw, il have to end up buying a 4.0 Ah to support this blower without worry of it dying when in use. For price, quality, and performance I'm going to rate this at 3 Stars! Do I recommend it? Yes. Just know what to expect.
