This fit the need of a light grab and go vacuum for small spills that would be gentle on all surfaces. The soft brush attachment is the go-to feature we use all the time. There was a learning curve with emptying it but got that figured out now. The trigger requires such a light touch to run there really isn't the fatigue that others complained of... we understand that it is likely part of the battery life conservation. Buying this for less on eBay was ideal, no reason to spend more in a box store.

I understand that when a company like Dyson produces a product, you are confident it will perform close to what they claim it will, not EXACTLY, but close...This handheld vacuum claims that the Battery will charge in 60 minutes and the vacuum will RUN 60 minutes after a full charge! NOT even Close! The Battery takes ATLEAST 2 hours to charge, and your LUCKY to get 15 miutes run time on a single charge! This is totally unacceptable for a Top company like Dyson. The vacuum itself, performs good while the battery has life, good suction. Also emptying the vacuum is a little tricky, you have to pull the release handle up AND lift the filter assemble up, while pullint the bottom release door open, not as easy as the directions say. I had to order a higher capacity battery for $35 to replace the JUNK factory batter that came with the vacuum...I wil let you know how the new battery worked out...NEW Battery works great, compared to junk factory battery Dyson sends you.. plan on spending atleast $35 more on a battery AFTER you purchase the vacuum, if you want more than 10 minutes of run time...Read full review

i was a little concerned at first because the suction didnt seem as powerful as a conventional vaccum i think it might just be the lower sound that creates this illusion because it actually pics up stuff really well and is easy to use in my car which is why i got it. The light weight and not having to lug around a big canister and cord make this thing amazing. id recommend it for quick cleanups around the house or for cleaning cars for sure.

Battery doesn't last long on high power maybe 15 to 20 min if that. low power just to low to do much, may just hardwood floors. Works for what i need it for Cutting the Dogs hair in the living room
