I offer it is a a good one as it is a Dewalt. The air flow was not as concentrated as it could be and that slowed me down as I had to move the nozzle slower than my old AC unit. Battery charge does not hold as well as I think it should. Fan pulls lots of power. It was relatively lightweight and balanced well. Battery charged pretty quickly; need to have a spare ready and fully charged. The feel was of cheap construction. Maybe that is just because I am used to thicker plastic. Shrill noise so wear ear protection. I think it is worth the price if under $200 all in. Good for a quick job on your driveway, porch, patio or sidewalk. Not up to the job for any serious leaf blowing in your yard. The prices vary widely for this; so shop around. Overall satisfied.

This blower has good power, but not as much as a corded blower. It also has good balance and is easy to use. The battery life is not great, but not too bad. If you're doing a lot of yard work, it may be best to have a spare battery.

Pro, light weight, well balanced, easily adjustable power setting by the handle, moves a lot of air, excellent for quick clean up, don't smell like exhaust fumes after use like on 2 cycle engines. Con, I like to put my tools back in the box after use, it requires a tool (small screwdriver) to detach the tube from the motor and the two piece tube is not easy to separate to fit back in the original box. This is not an issue if you don't plan on putting everything back in the box. Overall very satisfied with unit.

powerful, light weight and convenient. I love this blower and would easily have given it 5 stars but the other day the end of it came off and the plastic cap in the end had come loose. I have super glued the end twice now and the black end of the blower tube keeps falling off. It has become really annoying. I always carry a spare battery with it because it pulls a lot of juice to run the fan motor. I would still recommend it after dealing with previous gas blowers and carb issues and non start issues with other blowers. it is nice to pop a battery on this and go. I take it in my RV to clear the slides and the patio areas where we camp. Just a heads up I love the Dewalt DCV501HB vacuum for my camper as well.

I went with the Dewalt brand because I was in the Dewalt battery line already, but I had my doubts about a battery operated blower and I figured if nothing else it would be good to blow out the shop. I say that this is one blower that did not disappoint me. I used it on leaf and debris, grass clippings, as well as trimmings from the bushes. I do recommend getting a second battery for is so that you do not have to wait for the one to charge to continue to work if you have a lot or demand.
