I was pleasantly surprised by the tones I got from this tiny little pedal for the money. It has a good high gain Marshall like distortion tone. Haven’t tried in a high volume situation yet but at my home studio it sounds great thru my Mesa amps and Fender Super Reverb. Well worth the low price tag for a pedal junkie like me!

I suppose for a specific type of sound for someone this could suffice. I have other options and have used other inexpensive distortion units for decades. Just lacks Sonic character, dynamics and didn't add anything positive to my sound. I DO really like their volume/wah mini pedal...they are all well-made and terrific. I wanted to support this product but it was a disappointment. Do your reviews carefully before deciding.

Just received and tested. Sounds great, both on guitar and bass. 3 modes make it versatile enough for most distortion needs. Sonicake includes the velcro AND a golden tips patch cable(!). Feels heavy and well built. Sonicake got my attention. 2 thumbs up!

Not a bad little pedal. My unit does add a bit of noise when on, bypass is clean and silent. Likely has more variation than the distortion built in to most amps.

At the price, I didn't expect a ton out of it, and was quickly proven wrong. It really sounds quite nice, especially compared to other, more expensive pedals (of course, it isn't perfect). It is a perfect distortion pedal for its price, especially for anyone starting out in guitar or just feeling out pedals.
