Good blower, a great drain on a 5 amp hour battery ( RUN TIME IS LESS THAN EXPECTED.) Would like to have a nozzle reducer i.e. a 2-3 inch outlet for blowing around plants on my rock area around plants. It has about 1/3 capacity of my ECHO motorized back pack blower

I misplaced my 20v. I have a ton of 60v batteries. This unit is a bit more powerful than the 20v, but at the cost of very little run time. Its a lot louder. The extra power doesn't seem to make as much difference as you would think. Between it being super loud and eat a massive battery in 5 minutes I would rather have the slightly less powerful and quieter 20v version that runs a long time on one massive 60v battery.

The blower is great and is very powerful. You get about 15 min of power full run time off the battery. It’s great if you have other dewalt products and have additional flex volt batteries. I recommend it as someone who owns 10+ additional flex volt batteries. If you don’t have any additional batteries with the run time it might not be the best choice.

I do like the power that’s delivered with the blower, almost as much as my backpack blower. The biggest shortfall is battery life. The 9amp that came with it will only last about 10 minutes at constant on so extra batteries are essential if you’re clearing leaves. My neighbor bought an EGo blower that seems to last twice as long as the DeWalt

If you already have flexvolt batteries, this is a great cordless blower. If you don't, but have 20v DeWalt told, it's on the high end, but get the 8 amp charger. You will love it on saws for fast recharge of all batteries so still would go for it. It seems about the same as a BT150 in output, less speed, but moves very well. It is a little noisy, but much less then corded units that do less. Expect 2-3 batteries used up to clean up neighborhood size yard with 5-7 trees. If this is your only planned DeWalt tool, I would go for a gas backpack blower for the cost.
