I would rate this 5 stars except for the following: The screen could be a little more responsive to touch , and the program instructions connected to selecting and deselecting favorite channels could be improved . I programed my own channel then tried to place it in the trash to eliminate it but couldn't . It didn't place that channel in numerical sequence . That required you to drag and place it yourself. These are minor gripes , and I'm looking forward to setting up the Philips Hue and using the remote for lighting functions etc. .This becomes easy to program once you become familiar with the procedure. Much easier to use than a phone.

This remote was very easy to set up and use. The only issues I have with it are that it doesn't sit flat on a table (it rocks on it's very rounded back) and the buttons on the top of the remote are difficult to push without using a second hand. The unit is poorly balanced. Additionally, I find the lack of a physical number pad is a poor choice. The unit looks good without it, but it is too difficult to bring up the number pad quickly on the screen.

The remote works well except that you can't program details. It will turn on the TV and put it in app mode but I still have to use the arrow keys to put it on Netflix, for example. This seems reasonable. At the same time it will turn on the stereo and put it on the correct input. And the remote uses RF not IR so you don't need to point it at the hub. The weakness of the system is the IR blasters which control the components. They don't bounce off the walls as claimed so you have to face them towards your components. But there are only two of them, besides the hub, and you can't add more, so if your components are spread out you might have a problem.
