I was undecided in between the 4K LG OLED and the Samsung 4K SUHD with Dynamic Range, Full Array and Quantum Dot (Series 9000)...The LG provides probably the best blacks on the market because when the LED is OFF there is nothing darker, but the SUHD Samsung provides many more colors and the Quantum dot combined with full array back lighting provides colors that I have never seen in a TV at any price...Of course, we are talking about the leading brand of TV's and this is their flagship model, nothing better is produced by Samsung. After setting the TV I found that Samsung's blacks are excellent, I do have a 55 inch LG OLED and this is a Samsung 78 inch and the difference in negligible.. The Samsung comes with 4 picture modes (movie, natural, standard and dynamic) and each of those modes can be tweaked...These settings are pretty good as they come from the factory but tweaking them to the individual video sources improves the picture quality dramatically; I set the TV on a wall bracket and the center of the screen is at 42 inches.... It is best to have a certified technician adjust your TV, I know that Best does it for $200 and they match the video sources/TV for daytime and night time using a colorimeter and a Lap Top. I have DirecTV, Blue Ray, a HT computer with 4K output loaded with pictures and videos have taken over the years and lastly, direct streaming from the Internet in HD and 4K...Each and every source requires a particular setting for taking full advantage of the Samsung's display. I used 4K still pictures, DVD's that have outstanding video and HD sources from DirecTV for adjusting this set and it took me several hours of playing back and forth, then I set the 55 LG that has been calibrated for a simple comparison: Put the same video source on both TV's and make the Samsung look at least the same as the LG...The results were very gratifying and I can say that a 78" SUHD Samsung looks as sharp and detailed as a 55 OLED LG, but the Samsung has many more colors and color shades. Am I happy with this Samsung? Yes, very happy...This is the best video I have seen in any TV at any price and I only wish there were larger screens (90 -100") that were more affordable...I really don't understand why a 88" Identical Samsung 4K SUHD TV costs almost twice what I paid for this 78" .Read full review

Absolutely the best TV we have ever owned. The quality of the picture is outstanding. Easy to connect to the internet for Movies on Netflix, or many others. We enjoy the high quality of 4k, which brings the resolution up to where you can see some problems in the makeup of the artists.
