It took over my printer and as of right now I can't print a thing it wont release it. I'm going to call Tech. Support because there is nothing on their web sight that can help. As for wireless connections it works great.

RECEIVED THE ROUTER IN GOOD TIME, SET UP WENT PRETTY GOOD, BUT THE USB 3 PORT DID NOT WORK, USB 2 WAS OK. RESEARCHED THE ISSUE ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE EA 9200 AND MANY OTHER MODELS, SO LINKSYS SHOULD BE VERY MUCH AWARE BUT HASN'T FIXED THE PROBLEM. ANOTHER THING IS THE USB PORT IS NOT LIKE MOST USB PORTS, IT WILL NOT TAKE JUST ANY OLD THUMB DRIVE OR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE AND THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT, SPENT QUIT A WHILE IN A CHAT WITH LINKSYS TECHNICAL SUPPORT (WHICH WAS OK). BOTTOM LINE IS THE ROUTER IS ON ITS WAY BACK. WHAT MAKES ME REALLY MAD IS I HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING BACK WHICH MEANS I AM PAYING FOR THEIR POOR REFURB JOB. TELLS YOU WHAT THEY THINK OF THEIR CUSTOMERS!

First of all routers are expensive. I didn't realize that until today. $300 bucks. I could by a google Chromebook for less than that. So what kind of router do I buy so I can get my 25-50mbps speed at maximum strength and beem it to all of my 5 or 6 tablets while using desktops and TV's also. I surely didn't want to spend 300 bucks but also didn't want to continue rentals. I then noticed this item which to me seemed the excellent choice. The promotion on this thing makes you think its utopia and works like no other. I am not that knowledgeable on this type of thing. I know computers but networking is a blur. I"ve had this for about 3 weeks and first the price on a refurbed is definitely worth it. Just make sure its a mfg refurb compared to a maybe good maybe not so good general anybody refurbed. The Ethernet line works great. Top speed. The simplicity is nice. Its real easy to just plug and play. Also connecting to the dual adapters on my other machines works quite well. I had trouble picking up tablets throughout the house but found that if I repositioned the router slightly all devise come in pretty good. I wish the range was a bit better. I definitely wish for summer I could go outside and use a tablet which I don't think will work with this one. However, range is an issue but I cannot afford the $300 models that beem all over the block so this is great for the price. I wouldn't recommend for everybody as each has there own needs. For the price I would definitely consider and is the best I could come up with by far.Read full review

The router is packed full of features and other useful settings. Unfortunately, the range on the router is piss-poor. The 5 gigahertz Network is very very small range and I have connection issues most time. For this reason I do not recommend this model of router.

This worked straight out of the box! One of the better routers that I have owned and tested. Great signal strength and range; I experienced no drop offs at all. One great feature that stood out to me is the ability to configure two of your LAN ports into VLAN. Ideal for a in-home business setup. The only two takeaways for me was the 16 bit minimum for a subnet mask and the IP reservations only within the DHCP scope. Other than that, PHENOMENAL router. Good Job Linksys!
