This device draws from the Wireless-N technology, which utilizes the multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) application for wireless communications. This smart antenna technology, which is common in most modern routers, integrates a combination of multiple transmit and receiver antennas to increase broadcast range, while minimizing network failures. Enjoy wider coverage throughout your house with significantly less connection errors with this Linksys device. Your online experience only gets better with Linksys’ SpeedBoost technology. This advanced feature optimizes data speeds and guarantees maintenance of high-speed connectivity across greater distances. The router provides wireless data transmission rates of up to 300 megabits per second. Even while you are doing bandwidth-intensive applications, such as playing online games or moving large files, connection to the Internet remains smooth without delays and unwanted interruptions. Aside from wireless connection to the Internet, which is supported by the 802. 11 Wi-Fi standard, this Linksys router also provides wired connections for up to four devices through its switched Ethernet ports. nice transaction.
Definitely an upgrade from my old router I bought about 6 years ago. Speed is up 30%, connection is better, jitter and packet loss is virtually nonexistent, and haven't yet had an unexpected disconnection. Also, this router gives you lots of options for limiting certain types of traffic and prioritizing tasks (of which I haven't yet fully explored). I'm not someone who has tested lots of routers, but I can say I'm pleasantly surprised and happy to only pay $32 for my factory refurbished model. One Con, and it's minor in my opinion: The setup program that came on the CD with the router did not work for me. It could not discover the router for whatever reason (even though my computer could see it), so I was unable to use the setup program. Luckily, the native Windows 7 setup worked like a breeze and I am able to modify the router's settings by going to[...] (this is probably the better and faster way to set it up anyways).Read full review

I can access WIFI but not my roommate... anyway, it's inexpensive
everything is fine except the WIFI... it's weird that my laptop can access the WIFI but my roommate's laptop cannot... but he can access WIFI in other places so that's not his machine's problem... maybe the setting problem... then i contact the technical support through online chat... and the lady patiently tried to help me to solve the problem.. but no luck... after nearly 30 mins... it's still not working... anyway, he bought a cable... and now going online using it.. instead of WIFI... and he seems ok about it... anyway, it's inexpensive

Awsome product. Fast, reliable, very, very good price performance. If you want to migrte from "G" router to "N" router and don't need the dual band capability, this is the router for you.
